One of the most enjoyable aspects of working with Home Instead Senior Care is learning more about our caregivers. Each is special in their own way, and one of our most unique caregivers, Suzanne has been selected as our caregiver of the Month of March.
Suzanne has worked with our office for a year as well as one of our Home Instead offices in Illinois. She has an extremely varied work and educational background. Suzanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is currently working on her Masters Degree in family and marriage therapy. She is a CNA and is certified in Alzheimer’s care, first aid and CPR. Suzanne has worked as a hospice volunteer, assistant teacher, in a nursing home and counseling for the Salvation Army. Her caregiving career spans over ten years.
All Suzanne’s previous work and educational experiences have shaped her into an excellent representative for Home Instead Senior Care. She has been described as thorough, gentle, understanding, and uplifting. Other adjectives used by those who know her are resourceful, inspirational, professional, observant and a good listener.
Suzanne enjoys working with the senior population because they are so interesting and full of history. She has been married for over 20 years and has 4 children.
We appreciate Suzanne bringing her wealth of life experiences to Home Instead. Her clients find her to be a great companion as well as caregiver. Thank you for giving of yourself to benefit others!
